Peace in this World through Friendship

The AAFS needs your help

The Africa-American Friendship Society is continually faced with tough challenges (seen and unseen) every time it has embarked on these projects; we hope to bring about changes for the better, in the lives of these folks and fellow citizens of the world. The AAFS hopes it can make a tremendous difference. Unfortunately, the AAFS cannot do it alone. We need your help and assistance.

We need your financial support to purchase two big 15 - 30 passenger transport vans for the transportation of volunteers, medications, and equipment around the villages during our trips; the vans can be purchased in Nigeria much cheaper, and would eliminate shipping and custom/ import duty hassles; however, we will accept donations of 15-30 passenger vans (in good working order, also).

We need donations of medical equipment (in good working condition) --Life-Packs, cardiac monitors, microscopes, centrifuges, autoclaves, arterial blood gas machines, portable blood pressure machines, big and/or small diesel generators, computers, fax machines, office equipment, ambulance equipment, and all types of medications--- especially antibiotics, antihypertensives, vitamins, antipyretics, etc.

We need people volunteers willing to pay their own passage to the African country of destination. We need nurses, paramedics, EMT's, carpenters, masons, electricians, landscapers, physicians, dentists, podiatrists, chiropractors, physical therapists, occupational therapists, computer specialists, business entrepreneurs (in the areas of restaurants, amusement parks, resorts, animal husbandry, poultry farming, etc.) and teachers (math, science, computer, health, automobile mechanics, bio-medical engineers, etc.)

The AAFS wants to teach these fellow brothers and sisters self-reliance. We want to promote health education; increase literacy by building schools; build churches to promote better religious ideals; improve communications with the world around them; and reduce unemployment, therefore reducing the crime rate. The AAFS hopes to improve the way of life for the residents of these communities. We want to establish cultural and educational exchange programs between the two worlds.

We live in times of conflicts, misunderstandings, hatred, terrorism, mayhem, religious extremism, ethnic extremism, and regional extremism threatening world peace and existence. Please join us in reestablishing trust, understanding and peace through friendship. Join AAFS, for together we can do our part through friendship to restore peace and trust in this world we all live in.

We need your help and donations desperately and quickly. Your donations are tax deductible, and the AAFS is a tax-exempt organization.

Let us begin at the Motherland and spread out to other parts of the world.

Indicate which project you want your donation designated to, and AAFS will keep you updated as it unfolds.
